I use a tracking script
to tell me what ads get the clicks on this site but I can also use
this information as a guide to how I need to extend my site into
areas that visitors are interested in.
For example, suppose I get a lot of clicks for ads about
Affiliate Marketing. I would consider adding a lot of pages about
Affiliate Marketing to my site. The reason is simple: if ads about
Affiliate Marketing are getting the clicks, if I post more pages
on my site about Affiliate Marketing, the chances are that I will
see more AdSense ads about Affiliate Marketing on those pages and
I already know that those ads tend to attract clicks.
It's a healthy positive feedback process: AdSense is
providing me with automated market research data from my audience
and every bit of data I get pays me too.
I already know that Affiliate Marketing is interesting to my
site's visitors because my tracking script is telling me this so I
can reasonably expect more clicks from these pages and the more
pages I post about Affiliate Marketing, the more often relevant
ads will appear on the site.

Clickbank - an Introduction
Clickbank is a service that lets people who want
to sell information do so in a simple way without having to bother
to set up their own ecommerce channel.
Clickbank also comes with a built-in Affiliate
Marketing service. The reason is that anyone can join
Clickbank's Affiliate Marketing network and sell any of the
information products in Clickbank's portfolio just by signing up
as a Clickbank Affiliate.
Once you've signed up as a Clickbank Affiliate you
get given a username. You then include this username in links from
your site to the Clickbank products you've decided to sell and any
sales that take place as a result of your link creating the
initial introduction generate Clickbank commissions for you.
All products sold via Clickbank pay commissions,
but some commission levels are much greater than others. To make
most money with Clickbank you need to identify products that are
both profitable and easy to sell.
If you visit Clickbank's website, you can find out
which products are selling well because Clickbank displays
products roughly in order of profitability.
